FAQs
How much does your service cost?
Holiday light installation cost depends on how many lights are being used, along with the size and difficulty of your home. When we meet with you we will discuss the plan for your home or business, as well as the lights and decorations that will be used prices will vary depending on the products you choose. We do all kinds of jobs, from small to large and our quotes include installation, removal, and products.
Can the rain be a cause of my lights not turning on?
The most common reason lights do not turn on is because a GFCI (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter) outlet has turned off as a safety feature, which is associated with your existing electrical wiring. Resetting a GFCI outlet is easy: locate the outlet that is not working, make sure that all the electrical cords and lighting are dry, and simply push the reset button back in. If it does not reset, the outlet may still be sensing moisture.
Do your installers have liability insurance?
Yes, we are fully licensed and insured.
Do I need to purchase the lights and decorations?
We lease all decorations, lights, extension cords and materials needed. This makes things easy for you and ensures all decorations and lighting are in top condition, approved for outdoor use and prepared properly for the holiday season.
How long will my Holiday lighting installation take?
Typically, Christmas lighting installation will be completed in one day. However, based on the size of the display and difficulty of your home, this can take an additional day of work.
Will your installers remove my lights as well as install them?
YES! Removal is included in our price. Starting at the beginning of January, we will contact you to arrange a day and time to remove your lighting and anything you have displayed. We will happily take the burden out of shopping for necessary materials, installing lights, and removing the lights after the holiday season.
When should I schedule my Holiday light installation?
We will do everything possible to accommodate your preferred installation date. However, we do book up early in the season and as the season continues, our scheduling flexibility diminishes. We recommend you schedule your appointment before the season starts and having your lights installed early.
Do we need to be home for the installation?
No, you do not need to be home for exterior installations. Our team of experts can complete your installation regardless of your availability.
What happens if I have a problem with my lights?
During the time of installation, our team of expert installers are trained to take all measures to prevent any problems with your lights. That being said, if you have a problem with your landscape lighting in Northern Illinois and the surrounding areas, we would be happy to have a technician to correct the problem as soon as possible.
